Altenew, Love, Simon Says Stamps

Altenew | Simon Says Stamps|Sending Lots of Love

Hello and happy Wednesday my crafty friends. I’ve been a bit busy with a job interview and other things happening so I’m a bit late in posting my floral card for the week.

I wanted to try a completely different color combination and here is my attempt to being bold.

Supplies used:

I die cut the floral images from white card stock and inked them with Altenew Crisp Dye inks using blending brushes.

The sentiment is cut multiple times from white card stock using the coordinating die from Simon Says Stamp set, and stacked to create a dimensional word. For these delicate die cut words I find it easier to create dimension using card stock rather than craft foam.

For the background I used some diluted fluid acrylic silver paint to create an organic splatter on a white card stock panel.

To assemble the card I positioned the roses and the leaves and adhered them using tape runner and foam squares to created layers and dimension. I then positioned the die cut sentiment to find the right location and stamped ‘lots of love’ using my stamp positioner and Industrial Diamond ink. I adhered the Sending word using Ranger Matte Medium and adhered the panel to a card base.

Until next time – have fun creating and connecting
